busy busy busy

I can't believe it's already time for midterms! Next week I take my lab midterm for anatomy. It seems like time FLIES by lately. Only three more months until we will be starting a whole new year already. A lot of good things have happened in 2010 and a few bad ones, I'm not sure that I'm ready for it to be over yet. ANY WHO- I've been so busy between school and work lately and now I'm swapping jobs. I had a little over a year (a good year) at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and now it's time to move on! Honestly, the best thing about this job change (aside from more money) is the down time I've had between the two jobs. hah It's some nice, much needed time off! Well, not COMPLETELY off, I still have school and open labs to attend ; but it's been nice to focus solely on that for a few days.

I have come to realize through my first few posts on this blog that I'm not very interesting... haha No one will be inclined to read this and no one cares about how glad I am to be off work for a few days OR the fact I'll be taking a midterm next week. You see though, this journal isn't really for anyone else, this journal is for me... sort of. My grandmother passed away this year and boy do I miss her! I've sat around many nights and thought about all of the question I didn't ask her and all of the advice I should have gotten. I wish more then anything that I could just sit down with her and ask her for all the advice she could give me about the next 60 years of my life bc she's been there before, who better to ask. Many times I've thought how amazing it would be to have a journal of hers to go through and just see how her mind worked ... hear her own words written down and have her thoughts and opinions on the stages of life she was going through. SO I decided to keep a journal so that one day my family would have that from me. I've tried, but as I said in the first post I'm not the most consistent journaler so this is yet another attempt and we shall see how it goes. With that said, I know I'm not the most interesting person. I've never travelled the world, saved the universe or made any significant difference; but I am a girl who loves her family and thinks about the future and I want to provide things that I would kill for. Whether or not my future family ever reads any of this who knows, but the fact that I have tried is enough for me. Enough of my rambling though....
